💙 What You’ll Do

• Maintain and organize resident medical records in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure records are complete, accurate, current, and readily available when needed.
• Coordinate medical record requests and documentation.
• Assist clinical and administrative staff with record-related questions.
• Monitor records for missing information, signatures, orders, and documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect residents’ personal health information.
• Assist with audits and surveys by ensuring medical records are organized and compliant.
• Coordinate record retention, filing, scanning, and secure storage.
• Work with our interdisciplinary team to keep documentation flowing smoothly.
• Help keep us ready for surveyors—because surprises are great for birthdays, not surveys! 🎂

✨ What We’re Looking For

• Previous medical records, healthcare, nursing home, or long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation.
• Understanding of HIPAA and resident confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable communicating with staff and providers.
• A positive attitude and willingness to jump in and help the team.
