Part Time After School Nanny – Ridgewood, NJ 

A warm family in Ridgewood, NJ is seeking an after-school nanny for their two active sons, ages 8 and 6, starting September 8, 2026 for the 2026/2027 school year to assist with after-school transition, homework help, and local activity drop-offs.

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday 3pm-6pm
• 12 hours per week

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home
• School is conveniently located just a few blocks from the family home
• Parents value open communication and building a long-term relationship with the right caregiver

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive the children home from school and transport them to local afternoon activities
• Assist with homework and engage the children after school
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment

Requirements:

• Prior Childcare experience
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Safe vehicle and clean driving record for child transportation.

Preferred:

• CPR and First Aid certified

Compensation:

• $24-$25 per hour
• Mileage reimbursement at the federal standard rate ($0.76 per mile) for job-related driving
