JOB SUMMARY:

The Paralegal, Employment & Transactions supports the Employment Law and Transactions sub-functions of the Legal & Compliance Department. The position manages the administration of a dedicated contract review request inbox, including intake and coordination of assignment and timely response to contractual matters. The position is responsible for assisting the Employment attorneys with responses to employment claims. The position liaises with internal business stakeholders and outside counsel; completes compilation and tracking of transactional and employment matter data; maintains necessary matter information in Legal Tracker; prepares, submits and tracks litigation hold notices; prepares other legal documents and business communications as needed; and other duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manages the corporation’s contracts inbox and coordinates timely assignment and completion of assigned matters
• Daily compiling and tracking of employment and transactional data including reporting in the legal tracker
• Prepares legal documents and communications as needed for employment matters and transactional matters
• Prepares, submits and tracks litigation hold notices for employment and transactional matters
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

• Associates degree required
• 3+ years of legal experience
• Paralegal certification preferred

Skills:

Excellent communication and organizational skills, responsive, detail-oriented, experience in record keeping and management, aptitude to work collaboratively and the ability to handle and efficiently manage multiple time-sensitive projects, meet aggressive deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
