Position is an indoor warehouse setting with moderate noise levels including voices, office equipment, and foot traffic sounds. Employee may interact with customers, sales representatives, and other internal departments.

Job Summary  
Installs electrical wiring and assembles components in control cabinets, electrical and industrial equipment, and related industrial apparatus, according to blueprints and wiring diagrams by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned:
•    Square, align, and assemble enclosures, back plates, and components; drill and tap mounting holes and install PEM nuts and other mounting hardware as required.
•    Lay out wiring and electrical installations according to wiring specifications and schematics.
•    Wire assemblies and components (control panels, lighting fixtures, door switches, field wiring) per schematics; cut/strip/bend/form wire and conduit; terminate and secure conductors (soldering, crimping, connectors).
•    Attach breakers, relays, contacts, bus bars, transformers, insulators, meters, plug devices, and fuse blocks to mounting points using appropriate hardware.
•    Install fans, filters, and other specified accessories according to specifications.
•    Assemble mechanical and electromechanical machinery from drawings, BOMs, and work orders.
•    Install motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors, and safety devices.
•    Wire control panels and integrate PLCs, HMIs, drives, and field devices per schematics and standards.
•    Perform initial start-up, machine calibration, and on-site commissioning; test and validate performance against acceptance criteria and recommend improvements.
•    Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control-system faults in both shop and field.
•    Execute preventive maintenance, upgrades, and retrofit projects; respond to emergency service calls and prioritize work during service visits.
•    Document service activities, machine changes, and spare parts used in service reports and CMMS.
•    Train customers and operators on safe machine operation and basic maintenance.
•    Discuss errors in diagrams or production orders with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly or installation problems.
•    Maintain a clean, organized workspace and comply with all safety policies.
•    Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and customer service to resolve complex issues.
•    May act as Team Lead: disseminate jobs, approve timecards, and perform related supervisory tasks.
