As an Operations Underwriter, you will be handling daily operational tasks for the Underwriting department. You will be responsible for reviewing and updating the activity of clients for OTR. You will analyze incoming applications and work quickly to update client information. 

Responsibilities:

• Review client accounts by addressing and facilitating business changes such as ownership transitions, bank alterations, and name updates
• Perform analysis using standard Underwriting guidelines and policies in place 
• Maintain and update all preliminary client data and files while effectively managing portfolios
• Communicate with outside vendors like banks, equipment finance companies and other factoring companies
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Finance, Operations, and other departments to ensure we are bringing on value clients 
• Prepare a UCC filing for each client in order to secure and validate OTR’s contract
• Support the team with any active buyouts with a competitor by verifying pay status on all open receivables

What we look for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Team player with multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities
• Strong analytical skills and good judgement
• Ability to handle difficult conversations
• Proficiency in MS Excel and related computer knowledge
