Role Overview
The Operations and Service Delivery Lead is responsible for leading a broad range of operational and service delivery support functions, including project governance and administration, project cost control, business reporting and resource planning. Reporting to the Manager, Integration and Service Delivery, this role leads a small team of Project Controllers and acts as the key integration point between customers, business stakeholders, project teams, service providers and operational teams.
This is an exciting leadership opportunity to drive operational excellence, improve service delivery outcomes and influence business performance across a complex Defence and Aerospace environment.
Description
- Lead Project Controllers and oversee project governance, scheduling and reporting activities.
- Drive project performance monitoring, forecasting, cost control and portfolio reporting.
- Lead workforce planning, resource allocation and capacity management across projects and operations.
- Provide project and operational analysis to support business planning and decision-making.
- Partner with customers, stakeholders and project teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across project control and operational processes
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Project Management, Engineering, Facilities Management or a related discipline.
- 7+ years' experience in operations, service delivery, project controls, project management or business operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in project governance, reporting, planning and performance management.
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams.
- Ability to work from our Homebush, NSW site.
- Australian Citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PRINCE2, APMP or Agile Project Management certification.
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Experience with Planisware, MS Project, SAP, Oracle, SharePoint and Power BI.
- Experience within Defence, Aerospace, Aviation, Engineering or Technology sectors.

- Your role may involve occasional national and international travel.
