Purpose

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production. This position coordinates activities across production, maintenance, quality, materials, logistics, and administrative functions to achieve company objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and financial performance

• Direct and coordinate daily plant operations to ensure production and customer requirements are met.
• Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost control.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Human Resources, and Supply Chain teams to achieve operational objectives.
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals and business plans.
• Analyze production data, labor utilization, equipment performance, and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, customer requirements, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support staffing plans and workforce development initiatives in coordination with Human Resources.
• Lead problem-solving activities to address operational, quality, and customer concerns.
• Assist in the development and management of departmental budgets and operating costs.
• Drive a culture of safety and ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
• Provide leadership and direction to department managers, supervisors, and support personnel.
• Participate in strategic planning, capital improvement projects, and operational reviews.
• Maintain effective communication with all levels of the organization, customers, suppliers, and corporate support groups.
• Manage special projects as assigned by the General Manager.
