What you'll do
We're looking for an Operations/Backoffice Analyst to sit at the intersection of operational execution, process understanding, and automation. You'll work hands-on with day-to-day manual processes (such as logistics, card deliveries, and chargebacks) and use data and AI to simplify and automate these workflows over time.
- Execute and follow up on the team's operational processes (logistics, card deliveries, chargebacks, among others), ensuring quality and turnaround time.
- Map existing manual processes to identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
- Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) and automation platforms (N8N, Google Apps Script) to reduce manual work and drive efficiency.
- Analyze operational data to propose improvements and support evidence-based decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Security/Compliance, Product, Customer Happiness) to solve operational problems end to end.
- Document processes and keep records organized in tools like Notion.
Who you are
We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Must haves
- 2 to 3 years of market experience in process analysis, operations, or backoffice roles.
- Complete bachelor degree (we don't require a specific degree — analytical ability is what matters).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrable critical reasoning behind the solutions you propose.
- Heavy day-to-day use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar) to improve processes — not just basic usage, but real application to solve operational problems.
- Genuine curiosity, ownership mindset, and willingness to do manual work before automating it (know how to walk before flying).
- A problem-solving orientation, connecting different areas and processes.
Nice to haves
- Background in Industrial/Production Engineering, Process Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Prior experience with Mastercard systems.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Suite/ Workspace (Google Cloud, Gemini), Notion for project management and documentation, automation via N8N or Google Apps Script, etc..
- Prior experience in fintech, payments, or financial services companies.
- A good sense of humor.

Clara’s Hybrid Policy
Claridians in a hybrid mode split their time between working from the office, talking to or visiting customers, or working from home. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for each individual and team.
We don't enforce a minimum number of days for most roles, but you're expected to spend time at the office organically, and be at the office most days during your ramp-up or when required by your leader.
