We are looking for an Operations and Administration Specialist to join our UPM Adhesive Materials team. This position will be based in Bangkok.

What you will do
- Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, and performance management activities, including commercial negotiations on pricing, cost optimization, quality, service levels, delivery performance, payment terms, claims, complaints, and contractual requirements.
- Administer vendor and procurement processes, including vendor creation and master data updates, PR preparation, PO creation and issuance, approval follow-up, recurring purchasing activities, and monitoring through final goods receiving and services.
- Coordinate purchasing and operational requirements across relevant stakeholders, including vendors, Warehouse, Production, Terminal Management, and other internal functions, in alignment with annual plans, inventory levels, and operational priorities.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support for terminal and office operations, including visitor arrangements, reservations, general office coordination, and liaison with suppliers and external service providers.
- Coordinate facility, repair, and maintenance-related activities with external contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure continuity, safety, and operational effectiveness.
- Plan and coordinate slitting operations and inventory management activities, including production prioritization, resource planning, stock control, inventory accuracy, and preparation of monthly administrative reports.
- Maintain effective document control and record management systems, ensuring proper filing, indexing, document accuracy, traceability, and compliance with company policies, local regulations, and ISO standard requirements.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Terminal Manager, including operational coordination, quality support, maintenance follow-up, cost optimization initiatives, and the identification of practical improvements to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Who you are
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field
- You have excellent verbal and written Thai and English skills
- You have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; SAP or ERP experience is an advantage
- You have good documentation, record-keeping, and administrative skills
- You are able to work effectively across different departments and in a cross-functional environment, both independently and as part of a team
- You are willing to learn, adapt to changing operational requirements, and support additional activities when needed
- You are able to comply with company policies, safety requirements, ISO standards, and confidentiality requirements
- You are willing to provide additional support during peak periods or urgent operational requirements when necessary.
