The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an Operation Manager for the European Distribution Center (m/f/*), you will have the opportunity to lead a diverse operational team and collaborate with supply chain colleagues around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leading a diverse operational team.
• Implementing strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Determining key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational success.
• Supporting continuous improvement processes.
• Communicating effectively with all teams on site and global supply chain colleagues.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Promoting a culture of safety, trust and compliance.

Your Skills and Expertise  

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

• Key skills: People management, project management, communication.
• Education: Bachelor's degree or industry-specific qualification, ideally focused on Logistics and Supply Chain
• Experience: Experience in logistics operations management or related field.
• Other: Proficiency in German and English.

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Additional Skills: Project management certification.
• Personal Attributes: Strong communication and leadership skills, excellent time management.

• Location Information: Based in Juechen, Germany.
• Travel expectations: May include up to 10% international travel.
• Work Your Way: On Site
