The NFR Expert will contribute to effective risk and control management by providing expertise, analysis and practical support across activities that may develop as the future organisation and service scope are further defined.

We are looking for a pragmatic risk professional who can work independently within established procedures, apply relevant requirements and contribute to effective and consistent non-financial risk management.

What you will do:

As NFR Specialist, you will contribute to risk and control activities across an international stakeholder landscape. The precise portfolio may evolve as the future organisation and service scope are further defined. Your key responsibilities include:

• Risk and control management: take ownership of activities, follow relevant procedures and contribute to the identification, assessment, monitoring and mitigation of non-financial risks.

• Policy and procedure application: interpret and apply relevant policies, standards and regulatory requirements within established procedures.

• Analysis and reporting: conduct research, collect and analyse information, identify key themes and trends, and prepare clear reporting for relevant stakeholders.

• Specialist support: provide advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolve queries and issues, and escalate highly complex or contentious matters.

• Quality and continuous improvement: support quality initiatives, identify improvement opportunities and contribute to more effective processes and controls.

• Stakeholder collaboration: support internal stakeholders, maintain effective working relationships and share relevant information.

• Change support: contribute to agreed changes and help implement improvements within the area of responsibility.

• Knowledge sharing: share relevant knowledge and provide practical support to colleagues when required.

What you will bring:

• A master’s degree or an equivalent level of education.

• Relevant professional experience, typically three to six years, in non-financial risk, business control, compliance, resilience, consulting, transformation or a related field.

• Solid knowledge of risk management techniques and relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

• Good analytical skills, including the ability to identify trends, assess issues and formulate practical recommendations.

• Experience interpreting and applying policies, standards or frameworks and contributing to process or control improvements.

• Good stakeholder-management, verbal communication and reporting skills, including experience resolving queries and providing practical advice.

• Ability to share knowledge and support colleagues; experience supervising junior colleagues is an advantage.

• Excellent command of English.

Wage (gross) 2 669 EUR/month
