  • Monitor Reuters news, photo and graphics services to identify misses, if any, and promote the most important and relevant stories for financial professionals.
  • Collaborate with editors across Asia, Europe and the Americas to curate and design professional landing pages and news destinations on Workspace.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, speed and editorial judgment while operating in a fast-paced news environment.

Required Qualifications:

You're a fit for the role of News Publishing Specialist if your background includes:

  • Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Economics, Finance, or a related field from a reputed university or institute.
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in a news agency, newspaper, digital publisher or television newsroom.
  • Strong news judgment and the ability to prioritize competing stories quickly and accurately.
  • Basic understanding of financial markets, business and economics.
  • Knowledge of international politics, policy, technology, sports, entertainment and global affairs.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Experience working with digital publishing platforms, newsroom tools or content management systems is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated interest in AI-enabled newsroom workflows and a willingness to adopt emerging editorial technologies.
  • Curiosity about how AI can improve newsroom efficiency and audience experiences, coupled with a commitment to continuous learning and experimentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under deadline pressure.
  • Comfortable working in an AI-augmented newsroom and leveraging approved AI tools to support editorial workflows.
