Day to day: Our IR department runs 2-3 Angio labs every day depending on volume. When fully staffed, we have 9 Neuro Special Procedure Techs and 16 IR nurses. Our tech’s shifts start at 0700 and we aim to have the first patients in the rooms by 0730. We have three angio suites. Two rooms are Philips AZURION systems; one is a biplane for neuro cases and the other is a monoplane for everything else. Our third angio suite is a GE INNOVA biplane system that can be used for neuro or body cases.

We perform procedures on adult and pediatric patients. Our pediatric procedures are done under general anesthesia, while adult procedures are typically performed under conscious sedation.
