Role and Responsibilities 

As a Senior Network Engineer supporting our managed services offering, Digital Infrastructure Management Service (DIM), you will be responsible for providing post-deployment operational support for customer network environments hosted within Equinix IBX data centers, the Equinix Network Edge virtual networking platform, and our Managed Private Cloud (MPC) services. 

Acting as a network infrastructure specialist, you will perform technical troubleshooting, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve complex infrastructure issues. You will leverage Equinix Managed Services to help customers maintain stable, secure, and optimized network environments. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Provide operational support for customer network infrastructures following service deployment. 
• Respond to customer inquiries and technical support requests. 
• Perform incident response, troubleshooting, and service restoration activities during outages or service disruptions. 
• Implement configuration changes and operational requests in accordance with customer requirements. 
• Diagnose and resolve network-related issues across complex enterprise environments. 
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and vendors to deliver high-quality managed services. 
• Ensure operational excellence and continuous service improvement throughout the customer lifecycle. 

Qualifications and Experience 

Required Experience 

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Layer 2 and Layer 3 network design and implementation. 
• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience implementing routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and Static Routing. 
• Experience designing and deploying virtual networking technologies, including SD-WAN. 
• Experience implementing and supporting security solutions such as firewalls (FW). 
• Strong troubleshooting experience in enterprise network environments. 
• Experience working on projects that require communication and collaboration in English. 
• Business level of Japanese is a MUST

Preferred Qualifications 

• Technical expertise in public cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure. 
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments. 
• Broad infrastructure expertise with experience in:  
• Technical analysis and problem-solving 
• Identifying and resolving complex infrastructure challenges 
• Developing infrastructure strategies and target-state architectures 
• Infrastructure architecture and high-level design

当社のマネージド・サービス製品であるDigital Infrastructure Management Serviceの担当として、当社IBX設置お客様ネットワーク機器、当社仮想ネットワークサービス Network Edge、当社プライベートクラウド（MPC）のデリバリー後の運用サービス提供を担っていただきます。ネットワークインフラアーキテクトとして、システム課題発生時のトラブルシューティング、お客様からのお問い合わせなどを含め、お客様がお持ちの課題を当社のマネージド・サービスを軸に解決へと導くための技術的な観点から運用を行います。

（ネットワーク運用サービス）

・システム構築後、運用フェーズにて、お客様からの各種問い合わせ、障害発生時の復旧対応、お客様からのご依頼に合わせた設定変更作業など、システム運用における業務を実施する。

職務要件

【必須経験】

・L2、L3ネットワーク設計、構築経験（2-3年以上）

・ルーティングプロトコル（BGP、OSPF、スタティック）実装経験（2-3年以上）

・仮想化ネットワーク技術（SD-WAN）設計、構築経験

・FWなどのセキュリティ製品構築経験

・ネットワークシステムにおいてのトラブルシューティング経験

・英語を使用したプロジェクト業務経験

・ビジネスレベルの日本語コミュニケーション能力

【さらに下記経験があると尚可】※優遇・歓迎要件

・パブリッククラウド（AWS、Azureなど）のテクニカルスキル

・大規模環境（エンタープライズ環境）での業務経験

・インフラ全般関して専門知識をもち、技術的分析、技術的課題の整理と解決策の立案及び、インフラグランドデザイン設計等に携わった経験のある方
