.NET Programmer Analyst

iA Financial Group is looking for a versatile Application Programmer Analyst (.NET) to join the Agent Compensation sector within the Odyssey Train. You will become part of a team driven by quality results and collaboration. Agile practices are at the heart of how our teams work.

As a member of a multidisciplinary Agile team, you will contribute to the design, development, evolution, and support of critical business solutions. You will work closely with business analysts, architects, developers, and business partners to deliver robust, high-performing, and secure solutions that create value for the organization.

What You Will Accomplish With Us

As a Programmer Analyst, you will play a key role in our mission. Your responsibilities will include:

• Participate in the analysis, design, development, and evolution of solutions leveraging the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize applications built on .NET technologies and SQL Server.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, developers, and business partners to understand business needs and propose effective solutions.
• Contribute to the team's technical direction and decision-making while adhering to development standards, best practices, and established guidelines.
• Perform unit testing and actively contribute to quality assurance activities.
• Participate in code reviews and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
• Provide application support and resolve production incidents when required.
• Maintain up-to-date technical and functional documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure the quality, security, and sustainability of delivered solutions.
• Opportunity to participate in on-call support on a voluntary basis.

What Will Help You Succeed in This Role

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a college diploma or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Has a minimum of five (5) years of software development experience in a Microsoft environment.
• Is recognized for the ability to analyze complex problems and propose pragmatic solutions in a changing environment.
• Demonstrates a strong collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Shows a high level of autonomy, accountability, and professional rigor.
• Is passionate about continuous learning, innovation, and integrating artificial intelligence into development practices.
• Has significant experience with the following technologies: C#, .NET Framework and/or .NET Core, SQL Server, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Git.
• Has a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and modern software development practices.
• Has experience working in an Agile, SAFe environment.
• Has an excellent command of French, both spoken and written.

Assets

• Knowledge of Kafka.
• Knowledge of Docker and Rancher.
• Experience working in a mainframe environment (Easytrieve and COBOL).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Knowledge of the FASAT system.
