Job Title: Multimedia Designer
Role: Freelancer
Duration: 3 months
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
What you will be doing:
Creative Execution and Delivery:
- Producing short-form mobile first innovative digital content for the client’s websites, digital applications and social media channels.
- Ability to work independently from creative concept to execution.
- To be accountable for the work by the creative team ensuring all work are as per brand guideline and platform’s best practices.
- To work closely with the Copywriter and Senior Account Manager to create engaging moving motion content across platforms.
- To assist the team in pitching creative solutions in response to marketing strategies.
- To ensure all design work adheres to the best practises of digital and social trends and requirements.
- Work with key clients to deliver the following types of projects:
- Social media and E-Commerce specific like Facebook, Lazada and YouTube
- Digital assets such as banners, emailers, gifs, etc
- Video content such as sizzle reels
- Constant and pro-active branded assets optimisation throughout the company.
Workflow management:
- Together with the Senior Account Manager, the candidate will work actively with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of the highest level of client service – from brief, creative, design and production.
- Managing projects deliverables and key deadlines.
Team development and inspiration:
- Actively participate in the sharing of knowledge and the facilitation of learning within the Studio.
- Encourage a great team environment whilst keeping client centricity at the core of the team culture and values.
- Influence and inspire your internal team to deliver projects to a high standard including QC.
What you need to be great in this role:
- Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships.
- Delivered campaigns in both English & Bahasa-Melayu, and have a strong understanding of local Malaysian nuances and culture.
- Strong in After Effects or any other digital animation software and video editing
- The ability to manage and filter workflow as well as organise and prioritise workloads to maximise productivity
- Ability to take and challenge a client’s brief and help them through the creative process
- Creative ability with strong Adobe CS (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Comfortable managing large design projects
- Working knowledge of digital design and its requirements is a benefit
- Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top tier agency service.
- A minimum of 8 years in design at / across top-level agencies.
- Worked on at least 2 large-scale multi-national brands in the past.
- Languages: Must be fully proficient in both English and Bahasa.
- Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies
- Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical
