As a Microsoft 365 Information & Knowledge Management Architect, you will be responsible for designing and governing enterprise-scale information-management, collaboration and knowledge-management solutions across Microsoft 365. You will define the target architecture, governance framework, security model and information lifecycle strategy required to support highly regulated environments.
Working closely with business stakeholders, security, compliance and engineering teams, you will ensure that information is classified, protected, discoverable and managed throughout its lifecycle while enabling secure collaboration and sharing across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the target architecture for Information & Knowledge Management (IKM) capabilities across Microsoft 365, including information architecture, governance, content classification, metadata management, secure collaboration and knowledge management services.
- Design enterprise information architectures, taxonomy frameworks, metadata models and content-governance strategies aligned with business, security and compliance requirements.
- Establish information-classification frameworks, including information segregation, secure collaboration boundaries and mandatory classification controls.
- Design and govern information protection, classification, retention policies, records management, compliance and data loss prevention capabilities across Microsoft 365
- Define secure access models based on Need-to-Know principles, least privilege and Zero Trust security frameworks.
- Lead the design of content lifecycle-management strategies, including retention, archival, disposition, auditing and records-management requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural governance across migration, modernization and digital-workplace initiatives.
- Lead architecture workshops with business and technical stakeholders, driving requirements, decision-making and solution adoption.
- Develop architecture roadmaps, governance frameworks, reference architectures, standards, operating models and implementation guidance.
- Support an collaborate with delivery teams during implementation, ensuring alignment with architectural, security and governance principles.
- Act as the subject matter expert for SharePoint, Microsoft 365 governance, information management and knowledge-management best practices.

Skills and experiences:
- 10+ years of experience designing, architecting and delivering SharePoint and Microsoft technologies in complex enterprise environments.
- Proven experience acting as the architecture lead for SharePoint and Microsoft 365 information management solutions.
- Extensive experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Experience supporting or leading SharePoint Online migration and modernization initiatives involving information governance, content restructuring and knowledge management requirements.
- Demonstrable experience contributing to Information & Knowledge Management (IKM) programs or enterprise information-governance initiatives.
- Strong experience working with enterprise information architectures, taxonomy strategies and metadata governance models.
- Experience working with regulated environments where information governance, data classification, auditability and access-control requirements are critical.
- Experience designing information segregation models for sensitive and classified information, including dedicated SharePoint Sites, Teams and Document Libraries with differentiated access controls.
- Experience designing and governing enterprise metadata models covering classification, ownership, criticality, retention and compliance requirements.
- Experience defining information lifecycle-management strategies including retention, archival, versioning, disposition and auditing.
- Strong understanding of enterprise knowledge-management principles, including content capture, organization, discovery, reuse and continuous knowledge improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to lead workshops, architecture discussions and stakeholder engagements.
