What Will You Do? 

As part of the Toro Company, you will have the opportunity to grow and build a successful career.  Your responsibilities will include:

Mobile Application Development

·         Design, implement, and maintain mobile applications using Flutter and FlutterFlow.

·         Develop and optimize code for mobile platforms using Dart.

·         Ensure applications are responsive, performant, and maintain a high level of user engagement.

Application Architecture & Design

·         Define and refine application architecture and design specifications for mobile applications.

·         Participate in system-level design discussions and provide technical input.

Hardware/Software Integration

·         Ensure seamless integration of mobile applications and cloud services and APIs.

·         Conduct integration testing to ensure robust communications between devices, mobile applications, and cloud backend.

Testing & Debugging

·         Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans for mobile applications.

·         Use debugging tools to resolve issues on mobile applications.

Technical Leadership

·         Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices and coding standards.

·         Offer technical leadership in mobile application development tasks.

Documentation

·         Create and maintain documentation for requirements, design, implementation, and testing.

·         Ensure documentation is clear, accessible, and up to date.

User Experience (UX) Focus

·         Design application software with a focus on usability and user satisfaction.

·         Iterate on designs based on user feedback to improve user experience.

Communications

·         Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insight.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional team members (hardware, mechanical, product management, manufacturing, etc.).

·         Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate technical details and project requirements across time zones.

·         Proficiency in virtual collaboration tools and the ability to navigate cultural differences are essential for seamless teamwork and collaboration.

Continuous Improvement

·         Stay update with industry trends and emerging technologies in mobile and cloud development.

·         Implement process improvements to enhance software quality and development efficiency.

What Do You Need? 

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following requirements:

Education

·         B.E./B.Tech. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

·         5-8 years of experience in mobile application development.

·         Proven track record of developing and delivering mobile software solutions.

Technical Skills

·         Proficiency in Flutter and Dart for mobile development.

·         Strong understanding of mobile application development using JavaScript and React Native.

·         Experience with FlutterFlow for rapid mobile application development.

·         Expertise with RESTful APIs and cloud services integration.

·         Proficiency in interfacing with phone hardware using Flutter.

·         Experience in deploying applications to both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

·         Expertise in integrating Flutter WebViews with JavaScript.

·         Strong knowledge of GPS technologies.

·         Proficiency with Google Firebase.

·         Experience integrating Google Gemini in applications.

·         Skills in creating customer graphics and drawings in Flutter.

·         Experience developing mobile applications on both macOS and Windows platforms.

Software Development Skills

·         Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure Repos, …).

·         Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

·         Experience using software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.

Testing & Quality Assurance

·         Experience with software testing methodologies and tools.

·         Ability to develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.

·         Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines (CI/CD - Azure DevOps).
