Internal Medicine

(Note: This position pays on the LPN pay scale)

Job Summary:
The Nurse is responsible for collaborating with the physician in managing and providing for age-appropriate patient care. This includes the immediate, short-term nursing care needs of patient, as well as, planning for long-term needs. The nurse’s scope of practice is determined by the Kentucky Nurse Practice Act and established procedures and standards of practice.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Licensed Practical Nurse with an active, unrestricted license in the state of Kentucky

• Two years of experience required

• Medical office experience preferred

• BLS required
