The Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will ensure that all activities related to the construction of liquid food production lines adhere to company guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Organize, manage, and monitor projects to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery
- Support the planning and allocation of the resources required for project execution
- Collaborate closely with the project team, Operations Manager, subcontractors, and clients during project execution
- Supervise subcontractors and coordinate installation equipment on site
- Ensure the implementation of hygiene, health and safety, and environmental protection practices on site
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical and project documentation
- Participate in testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and final delivery of projects to clients
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of two (2) years of proven experience in engineering applications at industrial installations
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Excellent command of English (written and oral)
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentation
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and MS Office applications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Flexibility to travel in Greece and abroad
- Valid driver’s license
Nice to Have
- Experience in production line installation projects in the food & beverage industry, particularly for dairy producers
- Experience with process equipment and installations, such as piping, tanks, pumps, valves, or hygienic systems
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) will be considered an additional asset
