In het magazijn van Frencken staat voorraad die niet in ons ERP-systeem staat: gereedschap uit de productie, kantoormeubilair en materialen van het magazijn zelf. De informatie hierover is versnipperd en beperkt. We zien een kans om die gegevens beter te beheren, en om beter te sturen op de kosten die eraan vastzitten.

Wat ga je doen?

• In kaart brengen wat er allemaal in het magazijn staat: wat het is, hoeveel, en hoe lang het er al ligt.
• Uitzoeken wie er verantwoordelijk is voor welke spullen. Dat betekent: mensen opzoeken en vragen stellen.
• Een overzicht maken waar iedereen mee kan werken.
• Een werkwijze bedenken zodat nieuwe spullen voortaan wél geregistreerd worden.

Aan het eind presenteer je jouw overzicht en werkwijze aan het magazijnteam. Als je een tool en database voor ons bouwt, gaan we die ook echt gebruiken om onze processen te verbeteren.

Wie zoeken we?

• Je werkt nauwkeurig. Je telt liever twee keer dan één keer.
• Je durft mensen aan te spreken en vragen te stellen.
• Je kunt overweg met Excel, of je wilt dat leren.
• Opleiding: MBO/HBO, richting logistiek of vergelijkbaar
• Duur: 5–6 maanden

The Frencken warehouse holds stock that is not in our ERP system: tools from production, office furniture and materials used by the warehouse itself. Information about it is fragmented and limited, and we see an improvement opportunity in managing the data and its impact on the budget.

What will you do?

• Map out everything in the warehouse: what it is, how much of it there is, and how long it has been there.
• Find out who is responsible for which items. That means going to people and asking questions.
• Build an overview that everyone can work with.
• Design a working method so that new items do get registered from now on.

At the end you present your overview and working method to the warehouse team. If you build a tool and database for us, we will really use it to improve our processes.

Who are we looking for?

• You work accurately. You would rather count twice than once.
• You are comfortable approaching people and asking questions.
• You can work with Excel, or you are willing to learn.
• Education: MBO/HBO, logistics or a comparable direction
• Duration: 5–6 months
