We are seeking an experienced and versatile Supply Chain Manager to oversee the end-to-end flow of materials and goods. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence by integrating strategic sourcing, procurement, production planning, and warehouse management. The ideal candidate will optimize the supply chain to minimize costs, ensure material availability, and maintain high standards of inventory accuracy and production efficiency.Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Sourcing & Procurement
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to identify and qualify high-quality, cost-effective suppliers.
- Manage contract negotiations, vendor performance, and relationship management to ensure reliability and favorable terms.
- Execute the full procurement cycle, including PO issuance, lead-time management, and invoice reconciliation.
2. Production Planning
- Analyze demand forecasts and sales data to develop achievable production schedules.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize capacity, material flow, and scheduling to meet customer deadlines.
- Monitor production KPIs to ensure schedule adherence and identify opportunities for throughput improvement.
3. Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Lead warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Implement and maintain rigorous cycle count programs and inventory control processes to ensure 99%+ accuracy.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize space utilization and material handling efficiency.
4. Continuous Improvement
- Act as the primary point of integration between sales, production, finance, and logistics.
- Identify bottlenecks, lead cost-reduction initiatives, and implement lean supply chain practices.
- Ensure all processes comply with safety regulations and internal quality standards.
Qualifications
Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or warehouse leadership.
- Systems: Demonstrated proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Skills: Strong analytical mindset, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and exceptional negotiation skills.
Preferred:
- Methodology: Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
- Industry: Proven track record in a Manufacturing environment.
