Job Description Summary:

Fenwick is seeking a Marketing Platform Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the firm’s email marketing platform, providing full-circle ownership from building and sending marketing campaigns to ensuring that data is accurately synching between the marketing platforms and applicable systems. This role is also responsible for building, maintaining, and improving any AI or agentic workflows dependent on the email marketing platform, and serves as a resource to help troubleshoot and diagnose any integration or sync issues across the rest of the marketing tech stack.

This position can be based in any of our U.S. office locations and offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work both from home and at your designated Fenwick office. The frequency of in-office work will be determined by business needs and guided by your department's directives.

Job Description:

Email Marketing Platform Ownership:

• Serve as the platform’s primary administrator: build and fulfill email campaign requests, create and maintain templates, and send alerts.
• Design and implement forms and automation sequences for email and web campaigns.
• Own segmentation, lead scoring, and A/B testing to optimize campaign performance.
• Maintain data integrity on the platform and ensure syncs with Salesforce and other connected systems are accurate and reliable.
• Ensure the platform is working as intended, and that emails, forms, and related tools are functioning as expected.
• Track and report on key platform KPIs, including send volume, deliverability, open and click rates, bounce rates, and conversion attribution, and surface trends and issues to stakeholders.
• Ensure email marketing activities comply with applicable data privacy regulations, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA, including managing unsubscribe processing, consent tracking, and data retention practices.

 

Systems & Integrations:

• Serve as the platform-side troubleshooter when systems aren’t syncing or communicating correctly across the marketing technology stack.
• Partner with other system administrators, vendors, and the firm’s solutions engineer to resolve issues once diagnosed.
• Own platform-side troubleshooting for the events platform and its integrations; serve as primary resource for the Events team on send or sync issues.
• Maintain data governance standards across connected systems, ensuring field mappings, sync rules, and data definitions remain accurate and consistent.
• Assist the CRM team on Salesforce issues that trace back to the digital technology platforms side of an integration.
• Anticipate and resolve intermediate-level problems independently; develop and advocate for practical solutions.
• Work closely with outside vendors and consultants to maintain and enhance firm-wide marketing technology.
• Participate in platform evaluation and vender selection processes, where appropriate.

AI & Automation:

• Design, build, and maintain AI-enabled agentic workflows that automate tasks across the platforms under this role’s purview.
• Identify where agentic automation can replace manual, repetitive work within the marketing technology stack, and build the tooling to do it.
• Maintain and iterate on these agentic tools as platforms, data, and firm processes evolve.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

To perform the job successfully, an individual should possess the following competencies:

• Able to independently diagnose sync and integration issues across the marketing technology stack and know when and how to escalate to the right vendor, admin, or internal technical partner.
• Advanced knowledge of Marketo, including ability to: create campaign automations, update and create new templates, maintain database cleanliness, and maintain data syncs between systems. 
• Working knowledge of Salesforce, particularly around integration points and sync troubleshooting.
• Experience with an events platform and its integrations.
• Familiarity with digital KPIs and reporting platforms. Power BI and/or Databricks preferred.
• Experience building or configuring AI agents / LLM-based workflow tools (e.g., via Claude, ChatGPT, or similar).
• Ability and curiosity to identify areas for platform improvements or optimization.
• Law firm or professional services marketing technology experience strongly preferred.

Reporting to the Senior Digital Performance Manager, the ideal candidate will have 8+ years of advanced administrative experience with email marketing platforms, system integrations, and AI-enabled workflow automation. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

The anticipated range for this position is:

$115,000 - $172,750

Depending on the role, the actual base salary offered may depend upon a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

A discretionary bonus for eligible employees may also be available based on performance.  Additional information about employee eligibility for benefits and discretionary bonus will be made available upon request.
