This program gives recent graduates the opportunity to gain practical experience, work alongside experienced marketing and commercial professionals, and contribute directly to activities that build market awareness, engage customers and prospects, and support business growth.

The Marketing Internship is designed to provide an early-career candidate with broad exposure to marketing, with a particular focus on Field Marketing. You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Partners, and external vendors to help execute regional campaigns, events, customer engagement activities, and other initiatives that connect our solutions with the audiences and markets we serve.

The program will help prepare you for a career in B2B marketing through hands-on experience, structured learning, mentorship, and frequent collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will have the opportunity to understand how marketing strategy is translated into effective local execution and measurable business impact.

Program structure:

• Build an understanding of InterSystems, our products, customers, industries, and regional markets
• Support the planning and execution of field marketing campaigns, industry conferences, customer events, roundtables, webinars, and other market engagement activities
• Coordinate event and logistics, including invitations, registrations, venues, suppliers, promotional materials, internal communications, and post-event follow-up
• Work closely with Sales teams to understand business priorities, target audiences, customer needs, and how marketing can support pipeline development and customer engagement
• Get involved with the development and localization of campaign materials, presentations, email communications, event collateral, and other marketing content
• Support relationships with external agencies, event organizers, suppliers, associations, and other marketing partners
• Develop project management and organizational skills by maintaining timelines, tracking deliverables, coordinating stakeholders, and supporting multiple marketing activities simultaneously
• Gain experience using marketing technologies and CRM platforms to support campaign execution, audience management, lead tracking, and reporting
• Monitor campaign and event performance, helping collect and analyze results such as registrations, attendance, engagement, leads, and follow-up activity

Qualifications:

• This role is intended for recent graduates from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience
