POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Marketing Assistant will work closely with the marketing team to help create content, coordinate campaigns and promotions, support events, and help keep day-to-day marketing activities organized and running smoothly.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Social Media & Content

· Assist with creating, scheduling, and publishing content across social media channels.

· Help develop engaging copy, graphics, videos, and other marketing content.

· Maintain the social media and content calendar.

· Monitor social channels and help identify relevant trends and content opportunities.

· Support the creation of newsletters, website content, presentations, and other marketing materials.

· Ensure content follows company brand guidelines and maintains a consistent voice.

Internal Campaigns & Promotions

· Source ideas on how to improve employee relations campaigns and drive engagement.

· Coordinate campaign materials, timelines, and deliverables.

Events

· Support the planning and execution of employee relations and company-sponsored events, focused on maintaining employee appreciation and a positive culture.

· Help coordinate logistics, marketing materials, invitations, registrations, and follow-up communications.

· Provide on-site event support when required.

Marketing Administration & Reporting

· Prepare basic reports and presentations on social media, campaign, and event performance.

· Coordinate meetings, deadlines, approvals, and marketing requests.

· Assist with invoices, purchase requests, promotional materials, and other administrative tasks.

· Provide general support to the marketing team as priorities evolve.

JOB SKILLS:

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Comfortable using social media platforms and digital tools.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.

· Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION & TRAINING:

· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

· 0–2 years of marketing, communications, social media, internship, or related experience.

· Creative mindset with an interest in developing engaging content.

· Willingness to learn new marketing platforms, tools, and technologies.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

· Experience or familiarity with tools/software such as:

o Canva Pro

o Adobe suites

o Microsoft Suite

· Strong interest in technology, software, digital products, and emerging technologies is also beneficial.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Position is at least 80% to 95% at a desk working with computer. Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Performs other physical activities including use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing, and performing repetitive motions. Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, operate a computer terminal, and conduct extensive reading. The incumbent will be subject to inside environmental conditions.
