Job Role: Marketing Coordinator

Compensation range: 2,000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule:         This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support the growth and success of client conferences through strategic marketing, stakeholder engagement, and industry partnerships. Managing marketing activities across 5–8 conferences simultaneously, you will work closely with associations, sponsors, speakers, exhibitors, media partners, and industry influencers to expand event reach and drive registrations, abstract submissions, and overall event awareness.

This role is ideal for a highly organised and proactive marketing professional with strong communication skills who can confidently manage multiple campaigns, build valuable stakeholder relationships, and keep marketing activities on track across several events at once.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage multiplier marketing activities across multiple conferences.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry partners and promotional stakeholders.
• Coordinate outreach campaigns, marketing toolkits, and promotional content.
• Research and identify new audience development opportunities.
• Monitor campaign performance and report on outcomes.
• Collaborate with conference managers and clients to achieve event growth objectives.

Requirements

• At least 3–5 years of experience in marketing or a coordinator role.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Commercially minded, with a strong focus on audience growth, engagement, and results.
• Experience in marketing, events, conferences, partnerships, or stakeholder engagement is highly desirable.
• Experience creating content for digital platforms and applications is highly desirable.

Success Measures:

• Growth in delegate registrations and abstract submissions.
• Successful delivery of campaigns across multiple events.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership outcomes. 

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
