Why This Role Matters

Lead the Manufacturing Unit by fostering a Safety as a Value culture and delivering operational excellence across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory, and Productivity. Drive continuous improvement through Zero Loss Thinking, end-to-end value stream ownership, and a high-performance culture while developing talent and aligning plant priorities with enterprise objectives.

What You'll Do

• Champion Safety as a Value, driving zero incidents through visible leadership, accountability, and safe work practices.
• Own Manufacturing Unit performance and deliver results aligned with Annual Operating Plan commitments across SQDICP metrics.
• Drive Zero Loss Thinking through loss elimination, disciplined problem solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and sustain Goodyear Production System (GPS) execution, reinforcing standard work and daily management processes.
• Optimize end-to-end value stream performance with a customer-focused approach and an Enterprise First mindset.
• Build organizational capability through talent development, succession planning, coaching, and effective labor relations.
• Ensure compliance, financial discipline, and data-driven decision making while promoting One Goodyear Way behaviors and cross-functional collaboration.

What You'll Bring

• Proven leadership capability with a track record of building, developing, and leading high-performing teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong operational expertise across manufacturing, engineering, quality, and production systems, with a focus on operational excellence.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement through Lean, TPM, Zero Loss, or similar methodologies, delivering measurable business results.
• Effective change leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, drive accountability, and lead teams through transformation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, leveraging data and KPIs to improve performance.
• Sound business and financial acumen, including cost management, budgeting, and resource optimization.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working across functions, managing labor relations, and maintaining a strong customer-focused mindset.
