As a Managing Consultant, Environmental Toxicologist and Ecological Risk Assessor, you will serve as a technical leader delivering innovative ecological risk assessment and toxicology solutions that inform critical decisions for major oil and gas clients. You will also play a key role in developing technical talent, strengthening client relationships, and delivering high-quality solutions that drive positive environmental outcomes across Gulf Coast ecosystems.

What You'll Bring

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in toxicology, environmental toxicology, chemistry, public health, ecology, or related life sciences, or equivalent experience.
• 4-6 years (6–10 years preferred) of relevant experience; consulting experience preferred.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in managing large datasets (MS Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and client interaction.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment, managing multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
• Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to Health & Safety protocols.
• This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Preferred

• Advanced degree (MS or higher) in a related discipline.
• Experience with ecological risk assessments and regulatory compliance in oil and gas sectors.
• Experience testifying as an expert witness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support ecological risk assessments and site investigations.
• Manage, query, and analyze large chemical and biological datasets.
• Manage, direct, and train junior environmental staff.
• Research toxicities and physical/chemical properties of oil and gas constituents and develop and implement site specific risk assessment methods.
• Conduct literature reviews on toxicological and biological topics.
• Develop work plans, figures, and technical reports with precision and clarity.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and subcontractors.
