Senior Swiss Tax Analyst/ Tax Manager

Level: We are open to hiring a manager or Sr. Analyst level, depending on the candidate's profile.

Contract Type: Temporary, Full-Time (9 Months – November 2026 – July 2027)

The Team And Role

As a key member of the global tax team, this position is responsible for Swiss tax compliance and tax planning and tax related project management. In addition, this role will manage the income tax provision process for Swiss legal entities. This role focuses on direct corporate taxation.

This is a temporary role to cover a planned leave, for an expected period of eight-nine months.

• Prepare and manage Swiss income direct tax, capital tax and withholding tax compliance.
• Prepare income tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740 and provide input for tax disclosures in the statutory financial statements with respect to the Swiss entities.
• Support the strategic tax planning (including strategies to manage impact related to Pillar2); and identify and mitigate direct tax exposure in Switzerland.

• Lead tax related projects through effective collaboration with finance teams and other departments across multiple sites. Support migration to a modern ERP environment (e.g., Oracle Cloud).

• Advise on audits and inspections, provide information as requested by tax authorities and recommendations for resolution of controversies.
• Assist in the due diligence and tax planning related to mergers & acquisitions and business operations as needed.
• Identify and implement process improvement/automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of tax processes.
• Ensure timely completion of various tax filings in Switzerland, either directly or in consultation with external service providers.
• Manage income tax and other tax payments (e.g., transfer taxes, duties) for the legal entities in Switzerland.
• Work with a network of internal business partners (accounting, FP&A, commercial teams, and the global tax group) and external consultants and service providers
• Track changes to tax laws, recommend and implement projects to respond to new laws and business initiatives, provide tax advice to the business relating to new and existing transactions.
• Support efforts to claim incremental “Qualified Tax Incentives” as guidance becomes available in the Canton.
  
  

Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

• A minimum of 7+ years corporate tax experience. Experience as an in-house tax manager in the regional tax department of a multinational group is a plus. Big4 experience preferred.
• Experience with tax compliance activities for Swiss multinational companies..
• Solid understanding of Swiss income tax, capital tax and withholding tax.
• Experience with quarterly income tax accounting, reporting and disclosures in accordance with US GAAP is a plus
• BA/BS in Business/Accounting or equivalent; Master's Degree in Taxation preferred
• A self-starter with strong technical knowledge of corporate income tax principles
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
• Additional European languages (especially French) are a plus
• Proficiency with Oracle, OneStream (or similar programs), Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Alteryx a plus
