Job Summary:
Responsible for the patient registration and pre-registration functions across the Nebraska Methodist Hospital, Methodist Fremont Hospital, Methodist Women's Hospital, Health West and West Dodge imaging and surgical areas.Responsible for daily operations, staff, performance improvement, compliance with accreditation standards, budget and quality outcomes.
Manage and direct the daily operation of assigned areas and staff. Develop, implement, maintain and enforce departmental programs, policies, procedures and protocols. Ensure and maintain required documentation for compliance with safety, environmental and infection control standards and with local, state and federal regulations. Monitor compliance with standards, identify variances or inabilities to meet established targets and implement action to ensure that targets are met.

Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare related field preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in registration or healthcare access, healthcare insurance or business office or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year previous supervisor or leadership experience required.
License/Certifications
- Certification in Healthcare Access Management (CHAM) preferred.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Able to organize and perform multiple tasks, problem-solve and prioritize work assignments.
- Advanced interpersonal relationship and customer service skills required to effectively communicate with staff, physicians, administrators, patients, visitors and vendors.
- Ability to mentor, supervise, delegate and evaluate.

- Ability to provide excellence in customer service.
- Ability to lead a diverse registration team.

- Must possess mathematical aptitude to track and interpret performance measures.
- Required to travel to various locations.
- Ability to transport/escort patients and guests/family members to appropriate locations via stairs, elevators or ramps.
- Ability to communicate with others through a glass barrier.
- Requires the ability to provide transportation to other campus locations within a reasonable timeframe.
