Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Motion Graphics & Design to join our creative team in India. This is a hands-on creative leadership role for an accomplished motion designer, editor and visual storyteller who can translate complex ideas—particularly scientific and technical concepts—into compelling, easy-to-understand visual communications.

The ideal candidate combines exceptional motion graphics and post-production skills with strong creative judgment, production experience and the ability to lead other creatives. This individual should be equally comfortable developing a sophisticated animation in Adobe After Effects, editing a high-profile video in Premiere Pro, working on set with a camera, or providing creative direction and feedback to other members of the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design and produce sophisticated motion graphics, animation and visual effects for corporate, scientific, executive and external communications.
• Translate complex scientific, medical and technical information into clear, engaging and visually intuitive stories for a broad range of audiences.
• Create storyboards, style frames, animation concepts and visual treatments that establish a clear creative direction before production.
• Serve as an advanced, hands-on expert in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and Photoshop, with a strong understanding of the broader Adobe Creative Cloud ecosystem.
• Film and edit professional video content, including interviews, executive communications, events and documentary-style storytelling.
• Integrate live-action footage, motion graphics, compositing and VFX into polished final productions.
• Lead projects from initial creative brief through concept development, production, post-production and final delivery.
• Manage and mentor designers, motion artists, editors and/or production partners, providing clear creative direction and actionable feedback.
• Collaborate effectively with creative directors, producers, designers, communications partners, scientists and other subject-matter experts.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of creative and technical quality.
• Work effectively in fast-paced environments, respond constructively to changing requirements and remain composed under tight deadlines.
• Quickly learn unfamiliar scientific subjects, technologies and business concepts and determine how best to communicate them visually.
• Help establish and maintain motion design, video production and post-production standards across the organization.
• Evaluate new creative technologies, production techniques and AI-enabled tools that can improve creative quality, speed and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in motion graphics, video and post-production, animation or a closely related creative field.
• 4+ years of experience leading or managing creative professionals, including providing creative direction, mentoring talent and overseeing project execution.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong experience with motion design, animation, compositing, typography, color, editing and visual effects.
• Demonstrated professional experience with video production and cinematography, including cameras, lenses, lighting, audio and on-set production workflows.
• Strong portfolio or demo reel demonstrating sophisticated motion graphics, video editing, VFX and visual storytelling.
• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex scientific, technical or data-driven information through visual communication.
• Strong understanding of the complete video production workflow, including concept development, pre-production, production, post-production, review and final delivery.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work within demanding timelines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to creative craft.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical, technology or other highly technical industries.
• Experience creating scientific visualization, data visualization, molecular or biological animation, or other technically complex content.
• Experience creating 3D motion graphics and animation is a strong plus, including proficiency with tools such as Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine or similar 3D platforms.
• Experience integrating 3D animation with live action, 2D motion graphics and VFX/compositing workflows.
• Experience with advanced compositing, tracking, rotoscoping, keying and VFX workflows.
• Familiarity with emerging AI-assisted creative, video and animation workflows.
• Experience working with global creative teams and stakeholders across multiple time zones.
• Experience managing external agencies, freelancers and production partners.
