The Role

We are looking for an Manager, Investor Relations professional to help grow and strengthen our investor ecosystem.

You will work across the full investor lifecycle, from acquiring new investors and building trusted relationships, to increasing engagement, growing portfolios and delivering a strong investor experience across our Conventional and Islamic investment products.

Your goal: Grow our investor base, portfolio value and wallet share while building long term relationships that keep investors engaged and invested with us.

This is a commercially focused role where relationship building, investor engagement and business growth go hand in hand. You will work with emerging affluent and high net worth individuals, understand their investment needs and connect them with suitable investment opportunities across our product portfolio.

What You’ll Do

• Drive the acquisition of new investors, including emerging affluent and high net worth individuals, across both Conventional and Islamic investment products.
• Manage and nurture relationships with existing investors to drive retention, engagement and portfolio growth.
• Identify opportunities to cross sell and upsell relevant investment solutions based on investor needs and preferences.
• Plan and execute investor campaigns, webinars and engagement events that strengthen relationships and drive participation.
• Partner with Tech, Marketing, CX and Risk to identify opportunities and support initiatives that make the investor journey simpler, better and more engaging.
• Ensure timely follow ups, accurate documentation and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Represent Funding Societies with professionalism, integrity and a genuine commitment to creating long term, win win relationships with our investors.

Requirements

• Degree holder with 7 to 10 years of experience in Banking, Financial Institutions, Investment, Wealth Management or related fields.
• Proven experience in relationship management, client acquisition or portfolio growth, ideally within financial services.
• Exposure to Wealth Management, Investment Products, or Relationship Management, with experience across Conventional and/or Islamic products being an advantage.
• Basic understanding of Islamic investment principles and Shariah compliant products is an added advantage.
• Strong commercial mindset with a genuine interest in building client relationships and growing investment portfolios.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and engage confidently with affluent and high net worth individuals.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional stakeholders and drive initiatives from idea to execution.
• Fluency in English, Malay and/or Chinese is an added advantage.
