Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced consulting Manager to lead one strategic Utilities client account, combining trusted client advisory, project delivery, and business development. The role is accountable for growing a long-term client relationship, ensuring successful delivery of transformation programs, and identifying new opportunities that create measurable business value.

The successful candidate will act as the primary day-to-day client leader, orchestrating multidisciplinary teams while partnering with senior client stakeholders to shape their transformation agenda.

Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership

• Own the day-to-day relationship with a dedicated strategic Utilities client.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with business and technology executives.
• Understand the client’s strategic priorities, challenges, and investment roadmap.
• Proactively identify opportunities to increase client value and deepen the partnership.

Business Development

• Develop and execute the account growth strategy.
• Identify, qualify, and originate consulting and technology opportunities.
• Lead proposal development, commercial negotiations, and pursuit management.
• Build a healthy sales pipeline and contribute to account revenue growth.
• Collaborate across practices to bring the best of the firm’s capabilities to the client.

Project & Delivery Leadership

• Lead multiple consulting engagements from mobilization through successful completion.
• Ensure delivery excellence across scope, quality, timeline, budget, and client satisfaction.
• Manage multidisciplinary delivery teams, including consultants, analysts, architects, and technology specialists.
• Anticipate delivery risks and drive timely resolution through effective governance.
• Maintain executive-level reporting and communication with client leadership.

Strategic Advisory

• Support clients in defining transformation strategies and implementation roadmaps.
• Challenge assumptions with data-driven insights and structured problem solving.
• Translate business objectives into actionable transformation initiatives.
• Bring industry best practices and innovation to client discussions.

People Leadership

• Coach and develop consulting team members through continuous feedback and mentoring.
• Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and inclusive team culture.
• Support recruitment, staffing, and capability development within the Utilities practice.
