The Job

• Support HNW Underwriting daily operation
• Ensure that all new applications are underwritten in a consistent and timely manner with agreed service
• Risk assessment by performing the financial and medical underwriting
• Conduct customer due diligence and ensure meeting the Company’s requirements on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) risk assessment
• Handle agent enquiry to deliver and clarify the underwriting decision
• Update underwriting manuals and procedures are required
• To provide and perform quality underwriting in accordance with the underwriting manual and to deliver each underwriting decision to agents in a timely manner
• To execute the underwriting workflow effectively and to keep monitoring the underwriting services are at all times meet with the committed service standard
• Handle ad-hoc assignments

The Person

• Degree holder and FALU or FLMI is advantage
• 5-10 years experiences in underwriting
• With HNW UW authority at USD 5M-10m above is preferred
• Strong sense of customer focus, considering impact on customers and business and responding promptly and co-operatively to internal and external customers balancing decisions with the needs of the customer and of the business
• Proactive working attitude, hardworking, good sense of collaboration, strong execution skills, willing to learn
• Detail-oriented with good presentation and communication skills.
• Good command of both written and spoken English & Chinese
• Self-motivated, independent, able to work under pressure
