The Manager, Client Receivables provides operational leadership for the Firm's Inventory Management Department and serves as the primary operational leader for the Client Receivables organization. This role is responsible for the overall effectiveness and inventory performance of the Client Receivables, Billing-Managed, and Regional collections teams and partners with key stakeholders to support the Firm's inventory management strategy and objectives.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead, develop, and mentor Client Receivables team leadership, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional growth while supporting succession planning, employee engagement, and workforce development.
Provide strategic and operational oversight of the Client Receivables function, ensuring effective inventory management, consistent execution of departmental standards, workload optimization, risk mitigation, and timely resolution of billing, collections, and attorney-related issues.
Develop and oversee reporting, dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and performance metrics to monitor operational effectiveness, inventory trends, collection performance, and portfolio risk, providing actionable insights and recommendations to firm leadership.
Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, service delivery, and operational effectiveness, while governing departmental procedures, promoting adoption of new processes and technologies, and driving sustainable organizational change.
Partner with Financial Systems and other stakeholders to evaluate, prioritize, and implement systems, reporting tools, workflow solutions, and strategic projects that support departmental objectives and future-state operational capabilities.
Serve as the primary liaison between Inventory Management, Billing, Finance, Financial Systems, Practice Management, and regional stakeholders, driving alignment, governance, communication, and execution of firmwide inventory management initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
7–10 years of experience in law firm finance, revenue management, inventory management, collections, or related operational leadership roles.
Prior leadership and people management experience required.
Experience developing reporting, analytics, and operational metrics.
Experience leading projects, process improvement initiatives, and organizational change efforts.
Experience with Aderant and related financial systems preferred.
Must be available to support critical operational issues outside normal business hours when necessary.

Pay Transparency Range:
Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC - The anticipated full-time annualized salary range is - $120,000 - $170,000
Chicago, IL - The anticipated full-time annualized salary range is - $130,000 - $180,000
Washington, DC - The anticipated full-time annualized salary range is - $135,000 - $190,000
The salary offer will be contingent upon various factors, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, market data, job location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
