The Opportunity

As a Management Consulting - Finance Solutions Intern, you will engage with clients directly, supporting them in optimizing their financial operations and enhancing their decision-making processes. Within our Advisory practice, you will be part of a team that guides clients towards sustainable growth and competitive advantage in today's dynamic market. This role offers a unique chance to gain exposure to a variety of financial management, reporting, and analysis tasks, helping businesses improve their financial performance.

As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will support teams by participating in projects, performing basic tasks, and conducting research. This role emphasizes the importance of adopting a learning mindset and taking ownership of your development. You will have the opportunity to observe professional work environments and contribute to the team's success by applying your skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

- Supporting finance consulting teams in delivering client-focused solutions
- Participating in financial operations projects to enhance client financial performance
- Assisting in the preparation and analysis of financial reports and statements
- Engaging in financial data mining to identify trends and opportunities for clients
- Contributing to the management of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Assisting in the implementation and monitoring of financial internal controls
- Learning and applying financial modeling techniques to support decision-making
- Observing and participating in budgetary management and financial forecasting activities
- Collaborating with team members to modernize core business systems and platforms
- Gathering and analyzing financial data to support strategic recommendations

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Client service intern positions are entry-level and job seekers are traditionally either in their 3rd year of a 4 year degree program or in the 4th year of a 5 year program. Client service interns typically join us during the winter/spring or summer prior to their intended graduation year

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Business Administration, Business Management, Economics, Finance, Information Technology & Accounting, Information Systems & Accounting, Computer Science & Accounting, Management Information Systems & Accounting
- Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.3
- Preferred major GPA: 3.3
- Leveraging AI to create efficiencies, innovate ways of working and deliver distinctive outcomes
- Supporting financial management and reporting for optimized performance
- Participating in digital core modernization projects for improved efficiency
- Engaging in financial data analysis to inform strategic decisions
- Observing and learning from experienced finance consultants

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
