This position maintains and repairs the facility's structure, equipment and ground, including plumbing, electrical and HVAC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for mechanical service calls and in-house repairs throughout facility and grounds.

• Performs skilled trade work, such as carpentry or painting in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures.

• Monitor, maintain document and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC system including central plant.

• May provide guidance and oversee other personnel.

• May work from sketches, blueprints, and drawings.

• Act as liaison and supervise work of contractors.

• Be on call and able to respond 7/24/365.

Requirements:

• Requires 2-5 years of related experience

• Ability to continually learn through on-the-job training, independent training, and research.

• Intermediate mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Intermediate plumbing experience to include but not limited to assemble, install, and repair drainpipes, fittings and fixtures of drainage systems in light commercial and industrial applications required.

• Ability to read and understand equipment schematics.

• Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflect positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.

• Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, kneel, lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

• Keep accurate work records and follow Good Document Practices.

• Willing to work overtime and/or support unplanned activities.

• Team player, hard worker, good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports.

• Physically able to operate electric hand tools, work on a ladder, carry tools, lift, and carry heavy loads, operate required equipment.

• Able to work in close places such as closets, crawl spaces, attics, vaults, etc.

• Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.

The estimated base hourly range for the Maintenance Technician 2 role based in the United States of America is: $23.02 - $34.56. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. The range reflects long‑term growth in the role; therefore, most candidates are hired between the minimum and middle of the range. Placement depends on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
