What this job involves:

This role executes work orders and moves related to furniture and similar equipment within a corporate office environment. The MAC Technician handles the delivery, retrieval, and repair of furniture, along with reconfiguring workstations and relocating employee belongings during office moves. This position requires someone who can work independently, interact professionally with customers, and complete assignments with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting. The role also involves basic facility repairs and simple carpentry tasks to maintain workspace standards. Strong physical stamina and familiarity with hand and power tools are essential to succeed in this position.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Deliver and retrieve furniture across office locations
• Move and reconfigure furniture and workstations
• Repair furniture as needed
• Perform furniture and occupancy surveys
• Relocate employee belongings and crates to new work areas
• Set furniture in work areas to standard
• Complete basic equipment and facility repairs
• Perform simple carpentry tasks, such as installing shelves, hooks, or closet rods

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience working in a corporate office environment
• Proficiency with computers and smartphones
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift/push up to 75 lbs and walk up to 8 hours a day

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with office furniture systems
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Familiarity with dollies and other moving equipment
• Prior experience in facilities or workplace services roles
