Job Description
As an M365 Collaboration Engineer, you will primarily design, build, and maintain scalable M365 solutions — combining hands-on development with automation across SharePoint, Power Platform, and related Microsoft 365 services. You will bring a working understanding of platform governance, standards, and lifecycle best practices to ensure the solutions you build are secure, supportable, and well-governed. Working closely with business stakeholders and, where needed, IT operations, security, and compliance teams, you will translate requirements into reliable collaboration solutions.

Development
Good development understanding in both front-end and back-end technologies, while leveraging SharePoint object model/architecture;
In depth technical understanding of the M365/SharePoint online architecture. Able to configure SharePoint inbuilt and PnP based components;
Leverage Microsoft Graph API to extend M365 capabilities and integrate across services;
Experience with migration tools such as Sharegate, SPMT, Metalogix;
Working knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate for business process automation and low-code development;
Working knowledge of Agents development, including designing, configuring, and extending AI agents within Microsoft 365/Copilot Studio to support business automation and user productivity;
Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services, React.js/Angular.js, deployments and automations using CI/CD pipelines;
Independently develop and review code to meet quality standards, design and implement solutions aligned with business strategy, security requirements and compliance guidelines.
Platform Governance

Use the M365 Admin Center and Microsoft Purview to review platform health, usage analytics, and compliance posture, flagging issues to the governance/compliance team;
Collaborate with IT Security and Compliance teams to align platform governance with organizational risk and regulatory requirements;
Serve as a go-to technical resource for M365 development questions, and contribute to guidance on best-fit solutions and modern workplace patterns;
Build and maintain site templates, provisioning scripts, and automated governance workflows using PnP provisioning engine and PowerShell reducing manual overhead and improving consistency;
Produce clear governance documentation, platform guides, and architecture decision records accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
