Logistics Material Handler

We have an opportunity for a Logistics Material Handler to join our Apopka, FL team.  You will responsible for all shipping, receiving and material handling of in-bound and outbound materials.  Interested candidates, who meet the requirements below, are encouraged to apply today!

You will:

• Follow all documented safety rules and practices.
• Operate various PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks) turret truck, reach trucks, stand-up counter balance , sit-down counter balance, cherry pickers, electric pallet jack to move material within warehouse areas.
• Read production tickets, customers order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins in accordance with PFEP (Plan For Every Part).
• Deliver materials on a set schedule at a fast pace to meet business      needs.
• Train new team members on all jobs.
• Perform daily 5S activities.
• Overtime may be required.
• Perform any other duty or assignment as may be assigned by the group lead.

Key Qualifications:

• High school diploma.
• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience.
• Forklift Stand up Reach Truck experience required (must be certified to Pentair standards before operating).
• Basic skills in mathematics and computers.
• Understanding of inventory transactions and movement through the system.
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems for the review of inventory transactions,
• Data entry experience

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $18.25/hr. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
