Make Change Happen on the Shop Floor
Are you the connector who bridges the gap between high-level strategy, IT systems, and daily warehouse operations? At Logistics Hub Heerlen, we are continuously evolving. As our Logistics Change Coordinator, you take full ownership of operational change projects and system transitions, making sure new ways of working don’t just stay on paper, but truly land and stick on the shop floor.
You will act as the crucial link between warehouse teams, project managers, and IT—solving bottlenecks before they arise, setting up standard frameworks, and driving sustainable performance. Additionally, you hold a key responsibility for compliance, safeguarding GDP guidelines with direct authority across our wholesale operations.
What You’ll Do
- Drive Implementation & Sub-Projects: Autonomously lead key change initiatives and sub-projects (such as WMS rollouts and process optimizations), managing a smooth and structured transition right onto the warehouse floor.
- Shape Standardized Processes: Design clear process frameworks, impactful training concepts, and standardized operating procedures (SOPs) that align strictly with GDP and high quality standards.
- Connect Stakeholders & Solve Roadblocks: Act as the strategic liaison between shop-floor colleagues, IT teams, and management. You spot operational friction early and independently dismantle structural hurdles.
- Track Impact with Real Data: Measure the success of change initiatives through concrete KPIs (such as process stability, adoption rates, and training progress) and deliver structured reporting to Logistics Management.
- Hands-on Shop Floor Enablement: Spend time directly in the logistics hub to empower, train, and guide operational staff, embedding new standards into daily habits.
- Safeguard Quality & Compliance: Oversee GDP compliance within your scope, holding directive authority across the wholesale domain to ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards.
What You Bring
- Education or Certifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Alternatively, recognized certifications in Change or Project Management (e.g., Prosci, PMP, PRINCE2, Kotter).
- Operational Track Record: Several years of experience within a logistics or operational environment, with proven success leading sub-projects (e.g., system migrations, operational reorganizations).
- Process & Conceptual Skills: Methodical strength in translating complex workflows into easy-to-follow SOPs, frameworks, and engaging training materials.
- People & Stakeholder Savvy: Strong communication skills and natural assertiveness, with the ability to build trust across all levels—from frontline warehouse operators to IT specialists and senior management.
- Analytical Mindset: Comfortable defining, tracking, and interpreting operational KPIs and change metrics to guide decision-making.
- Regulatory Understanding: Solid knowledge of GDP guidelines and quality assurance, with the ability to translate regulations into pragmatic warehouse routines.
- Languages: Business fluency in both German and English (spoken and written).
What We Offer
- Attractive Compensation: A monthly gross salary between €3,973 and €4,993, based on your background and expertise.
- Real Ownership & Impact: High autonomy to lead sub-projects end-to-end, with direct influence on modernizing our logistics hub.
- Dynamic, Forward-Thinking Environment: A workplace that embraces continuous improvement, modern WMS solutions, and lean logistics.
- Professional Growth: Room to expand your change management and operational leadership capabilities within an international logistics network.
