About The Role: 

As a Loan Specialist, you'll be the friendly voice guiding and educating our borrowers on the home loan process. You'll initiate the first step in the home buying journey and set the stage for a successful partnership. Our marketing team works hard to bring in fresh leads, so most of the time, you’re calling people who are already interested rather than cold-calling strangers. It’s demanding, for sure, but there’s something really rewarding about knowing you’re helping someone secure their dream home. 

Don't have a mortgage background? No sweat - this role is an entry level position within our company where mortgage experience is a plus but not a necessity.

Loan Specialist Schedule and Hours: 

• M-F between 7am-5pm

• 1-2 Saturday shifts per month, 4 hours each

Here’s a snapshot of what you’d be doing: 

• Engaging with borrowers, understanding their goals, and providing expert guidance to ensure they feel informed, confident, and ready to move forward.

• Running their credit through an online system and helping them find the right loan for their situation.

• Walking borrowers through the loan process, explaining everything clearly, and helping them get the right rates and terms. 

• Handling all the paperwork and keeping the borrower’s file on track until the loan is officially closed.

• You'll spend much of your day communicating with borrowers by phone, email, and other communication tools. Business calls may be recorded and reviewed using AI-assisted technology to support coaching, quality assurance, compliance, training, and performance evaluation. ​​

• And on top of that, you’d be contributing to the team’s success by jumping in wherever you’re needed. Collaboration with internal and external parties is critical to this role.
