JOB TITLE: Lloyds Living External Reporting & Advisory Assistant Manager

SALARY: £44,901 - £49,890

LOCATION(S): Edinburgh

HOURS: Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Edinburgh office. Colleagues with disabilities can be supported with workplace adjustments including hybrid working expectations in line with our Flexibility Works policy.

About this opportunity

We have an opportunity for an experienced Finance colleague to join us at our Princess Exchange office in Edinburgh to join our Lloyds Living External Reporting & Advisory team.

As a part or fully qualified accountant you will join to support the delivery of internal and external reporting requirements for our Lloyds Living division. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who leverages new technology to improve processes and brings their insight to help shape our future ways of working.

Day to day you’ll be:

• Identifying shortcomings in existing processes, systems and procedures, then using established change management programmes to deliver prescribed outcomes and/or provide support services.
• Working independently to process complex data using established procedures and testing new procedures to see if they might represent improvements over existing methods.
• Organising and preparing complex documents by using multiple applications (such as Power Apps), while also gathering and summarising data for special reports.
• Completing financial control procedures and interrogating the reported monthly figures.
• Tracking progress and reporting variances to more senior colleagues while working within established finance systems.
• Performing independent research on emerging accounting standards and presenting findings to senior colleagues.

What you’ll need

• You’ll be a Part Qualified or Fully Qualified Accountant.
• Experience of either financial control, statutory or regulatory reporting.
• Experience of working within a fast-paced environment.

And any experience of these would be really useful

• Experience of Financial Reporting within Residential Property market.
