Join the Team Where Your Skills (and Sanity) Matter!
Are you a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT) who is tired of the "burnout cycle" and looking for a clinic that actually feels like a second home? At Healing Care Animal Hospital, we believe that providing great medicine shouldn't come at the cost of your happiness. We thrive in a fast-paced environment and organized chaos where our love for animals shines the brightest. We are a busy, well-loved hospital that serves a large and loyal client base. Our days move quickly, our teamwork is strong, and our culture is positive, supportive, and full of laughter!
We are looking for a passionate, high-energy technician to join our growing family. Whether you are a surgery superstar, a master client educator, or the "cat whisperer" of the clinic, we have a spot for you. If you enjoy the fast paced staying busy, always learning and improving skills, and being part of a team that always has each other's backs, this is the home for you!

Why You’ll Love It Here
Let’s be real: the work is hard, so the environment shouldn't be. We pride ourselves on a culture that is as supportive as it is skilled.

• A “team building” approach: We prioritize emotional intelligence and mutual respect. We laugh a lot, support each other during tough cases, and always pick each other up where needed.
• Fun Staff Perks: From lunch-and-learns to staff outings (think ax throwing or team games), we make sure we bond outside the exam room.
• Empowerment: Our techs are utilized to the fullest extent of their license. You won’t just be "holding dogs"—you’ll be running anesthesia, performing dentals, and managing cases alongside our DVMs.

Compensation & Growth

• We know your expertise is valuable, and we put our money where our mouth is.
Competitive Pay: Hourly pay negotiable, based on experience and specialized skills.
• Generous CE Allowance: Money given annually to spend on the conferences or certifications you are passionate about. We want our technicians to feel able to learn and grow with additional education without the entire cost coming out of their own pocket.
• License Reimbursement: We take care of your renewal fees and professional dues.
• Health & Wellness: Medical/Dental/Vision offered, 401(k), and Scrub Allowance.
• Pet Care Discounts: Because your own furry family deserves the best, too.

What We Are Looking For
• A valid LVT/RVT/CVT license in the state of Michigan
• 2+ years working as a licensed veterinary technician is preferred.
• Use of Avi Mark and/or IDEXX in house lab equipment preferred, not required.
• A "Team First" mentality—you’re the first to jump in when a coworker needs a hand.
• A passion for gold-standard patient care and detailed client education.
• A sense of humor (essential for those "unidentifiable fluid" days).
• Ability to multitask and stay busy
• Ability to manage stress levels in high pressure situations
