More Than a Role
We don’t just need a Legal Counsel — we need a hands-on legal project manager who partners with our business and solves problems on a daily basis. We’re looking for someone who gets their energy from dealing with employment law matters in many different jurisdictions, while keeping a sharp, analytical focus on how their work delivers real business impact.
This isn’t a role for someone who wants to stay in their lane. You’ll be at the center of it all - dealing directly with many different teams like Operations or Sales - ensuring everything you touch is high-quality and customer-centric and aligned with our wider goals.
You won’t be a solo operator. You’ll collaborate with our internal stakeholders, i.e. all internal departments, and external partners such as local payroll providers and law firms in different countries, bringing everything together to ensure consistency, impact, and momentum across the board.
Where Responsibility Meets Real Opportunity:
Your main responsibilities are:
- Resolve employment law matters of all sorts in different countries
- Support our internal units and departments where their knowledge ends
- Help the organization grow and build new business around the Globe
- Make sure everything we do stays compliant with local laws
What It Takes to Make an Impact Here:
- You are a Spanish lawyer, admitted to the bar in Spain
- Your field of experience and expertise is Spanish employment law
- You have been working either in a law firm, or in the legal department of a company / startup - in a perfect world both
- You have around 2-4 years of qualified experience
- Spanish is your mother tongue. Further, you are fluent in business and legal English, both in writing and speaking
- You are a sharp lawyer but also a business person, focussed, on point, and always striving for a solution that works in practice.
Bonus Points If You Bring:
- Knowledge of employment law in other jurisdictions, e.g. Portugal Knowledge of data protection law / GDPR
- Experience in drafting and negotiating Sales contracts
- More languages, e.g. Portuguese, French, Italian, German
