The College of Integrated Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at Rock County on the Janesville campus seeks a Mathematics Instructor for the 2027 spring semester (Lecturer, TL020).

Courses that are to be taught are in the face-to-face format and will include:

• MAT 90 – Basic Mathematics – Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am until 10:15am
• MAT 103 – Beginning and Intermediate Algebra – Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:15pm until 3:30pm
• MAT 108 – Quantitative Reasoning – Mondays and Wednesdays 12:50pm until 2:05pm
• MAT 108 – Quantitative Reasoning – Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:50pm until 2:05pm
• MAT 110 – College Algebra – Mondays and Wednesdays 3:40pm until 4:55pm

Examples include, but are not limited to, Navigate, Canvas, and Microsoft Office applications – including Outlook, which is essential for university email communications and scheduling.

Compensation:

This position for the 2027 spring semester will be based on a full-time (100% FTE) academic-year salary of up to $50,000.

Required Qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Mathematics
• A Master's Degree in a related field and 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preference will be given to candidates with successful college course teaching experience, as well as using the Canvas learning management system.
