Summary:

The Lead Recruiter will be the subject matter expert for the recruiting areas they support. They will be the first point of contact for any recruiting issues that need to be escalated. The Lead Recruiter will provide training to the recruiting team, candidates, employees, or management as required. They will also help recruiters manage requisitions, ensure adherence to metrics, and distribute requisitions.

PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the recruitment effort for all positions other than physicians.
• Manage and distribute requisitions as needed.
• Screen and prescreen resumes and forward qualified candidates to the appropriate hiring manager.
• Address applicants' questions about job opportunities and company benefits.
• Conduct screening or second interviews as requested by managers or directors.
• Consult with compensation when required to identify the correct pay ranges.
• Make offers to identified candidates.
• Attend job fairs and ensure all necessary recruitment materials are prepared.
• Ensure candidates are properly managed and kept informed of their status.
• Review and correct job descriptions before posting.
• Support departments in implementing various recruitment programs and procedures for all employees.
• Complete other assigned duties and projects.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:

• Associates Degree or equivalent work experience - required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • HR certification is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• 5 (Five) years’ experience with recruitment functions/duties– interviewing, hiring, sourcing, etc. required.
• HR or recruiting certifications preferred.
• Prior ATS experience.
• Word and Excel experience required.  
• Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, be flexible, creative, innovative, and be able to promote the Company to potential candidates.
• Must have ability to effectively negotiate, communicate and present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, potential candidates, and internal customers. 
• Position requires continually demonstrate poise, tact, and diplomacy.
