The difference you’ll make

You’ll sit in the Trading OS team, reporting to the Director of OTA Platform. You’ll work closely with lead engineers, Revenue Management, and commercial leaders to define and deliver the long-term product vision for Trading OS, creating shared data, tools, and capabilities that power pricing, packaging, promotions, and availability across markets. Together, the team will focus on enabling commercial and AI teams to configure, test, and automate commercial changes safely and quickly at scale, reducing dependency on engineering and enhancing decision-making.

Trading OS sits within our Platform function, which builds the technology and shared capabilities that power the loveholidays experience. By creating scalable products, systems and tools, Platform helps the wider organisation move faster, work more independently and deliver better outcomes for customers.

Your day-to-day:

• Partner with engineering, Revenue Management, and commercial leaders to define the Trading OS roadmap, outcomes, metrics, and investment priorities.

• Build flexible tools, APIs, and data models that enable commercial teams to configure, test, and roll out pricing, packaging, and availability changes.

• Work closely with Engineering on technical design, service boundaries, data contracts, and scalable architecture for AI-assisted decisioning.

• Improve the quality, reliability, and visibility of commercial data to enable faster, engineering-independent commercial changes.

• Use data and controlled experimentation to measure operator efficiency, engineering effort avoided, platform adoption, and commercial impact.

• Drive platform adoption by establishing clear documentation, onboarding, and feedback loops for internal product and commercial consumers.

Your skillset:

• Proven record of platform product leadership owning technical, API-heavy, data-rich, or internal platform products used by multiple teams.

• Systems thinking ability to model complex dependencies across data, services, and workflows into stable, composable capabilities.

• Strong technical fluency across APIs, data models, distributed systems, configuration engines, and observability to collaborate credibly with engineering.

• Commercial judgement with the ability to connect platform strategy to margin, trading objectives, and customer value.

• Expertise in data and experimentation, comfortable defining metrics, designing controlled tests, and using data to guide decisions.

• Outstanding execution and communication skills to navigate ambiguity, balance platform health with delivery, and align technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The interview journey:

• Talent acquisition screening - 30 minutes

• First stage with the hiring manager - 45 minutes

• Final stage with key stakeholders, including a platform case to present - 1 hour

• Behavioural and culture conversation with VP of Product - 45 minutes
