THE ROLE  

You’ll be part of the Power Platform team in Kerv Digital.

We combine deep expertise across Microsoft Business Applications, Power Platform, AI, DevOps, Data and cloud technologies. You’ll bring deep technical leadership across Microsoft Power Platform, Dataverse, Dynamics 365 CE, Copilot Studio and related Azure services. As a Lead Power Platform Developer, you will be expected to own the technical quality of delivery, guide other developers, make pragmatic design decisions, and work closely with Solution Architects to turn complex requirements into secure, scalable and maintainable solutions.  

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will still build solutions, but you will also set standards, review technical approaches, unblock delivery teams, influence architecture, and ensure that Power Platform solutions are delivered safely in enterprise and secure environments:  

Required Skills:    

• Extensive experience building Power Pages, Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps and modern Power Platform solutions, including custom pages, reusable components and complex business processes.  
• Strong expertise in Dataverse, including data modelling, security, business rules, solution design and environment management.  
• Proven experience developing Power Automate solutions with robust error handling, monitoring and performance optimisation.  
• Hands-on experience with C# plug-ins, Custom APIs and server-side development within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.  
• Knowledge of PCF development using TypeScript, React and modern front-end development practices.  
• Experience delivering solutions with Power Pages including site configuration, Liquid, web roles, table permissions, authentication providers, Dataverse integration, forms, lists, security and ALM. .  
• Strong understanding of Power Platform ALM, DevOps and deployment pipelines, including Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.  
• Experience integrating Power Platform with external systems through APIs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps and other Azure services.  
• Good knowledge of Power Platform security, governance and best practices.  
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the Power Platform stack.  
• Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring developers and ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions.  
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.  
• Active DV Clearance  
• Microsoft certifications such as PL-400, PL-600, PL-200, AZ-204, or equivalent practical experience.  

Responsibilities:   

You’ll probably need to demonstrate at least some experience with;   

• Lead the technical delivery of Power Platform solutions, covering Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Pages, Copilot Studio, PCF, plug-ins and Azure integrations.  
• Design secure, scalable and maintainable solutions in collaboration with Solution Architects and customers.  
• Make informed decisions on the right mix of low-code, pro-code and Azure-based technologies to solve business challenges.  
• Provide hands-on development for complex applications, integrations, automations and AI-powered solutions.  
• Review and assure the quality of development work, driving best practice across design, coding, testing and deployment.  
• Establish and maintain technical standards, development practices and governance across delivery teams.  
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and lead root cause analysis across the Power Platform ecosystem.  
• Mentor and support developers, helping teams improve technical capability and delivery quality.  
• Support project planning, estimation and prioritisation, identifying risks and ensuring successful delivery.  
• Contribute to discovery, presales, proof of concepts and customer demonstrations.  
• Champion ALM, DevOps and DevSecOps practices, including deployment automation and release management.  
• Ensure solutions meet security, performance, accessibility, scalability and supportability requirements.  
• Contribute to the evolution of Kerv Digital accelerators and reusable solution frameworks.  
• Coach junior team members, support knowledge sharing and promote an inclusive team culture.  
• Deliver training and guidance to customers, end users and administrators.  
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across project teams and client organisations.  
• Produce clear technical documentation, including solution designs, deployment guides and decision logs.  
• Stay current with Microsoft technologies, including Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Copilot Studio and Azure AI, and share insights with customers and colleagues.  

Desirable Skills:   

Candidates are expected to have some of the following skills;   

• Experience with Azure AI Foundry and related Azure AI services (e.g. model selection, orchestration, or integration patterns)  
• Experience developing or contributing to AI agents, conversational or autonomous, inside or outside of Copilot Studio  
• Understanding of responsible AI principles, governance, and security considerations in enterprise environments  
• Lead by example through sharing from previous experiences and providing implementation plans that mitigate risks to deliver a positive outcome   
• Remain calm and professional in fast paced environments and feel comfortable calling out concerns and seeking advice when needed   
• Embrace personal growth to yourself and others through learning, achievement and satisfaction   
• Be approachable to provide help, guidance and actively support junior colleagues helping them to uphold standards, manage their workload, ensure quality and cope with challenging situations   
• Embrace a culture of knowledge sharing so that we grow
