Stoel Rives LLP has an immediate opening for a Law Student Recruiting Coordinator in either our Portland or Seattle office. The Law Student Recruiting Coordinator supports all aspects of the firm's law student recruiting processes and summer associate programs across the offices hiring law students. This position reports to the Law Student Recruiting Manager and works closely with office hiring committees, office administrators, attorneys, and other business professionals throughout the firm.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Law Student Recruiting Manager and office hiring committees in executing law student recruiting strategies and summer associate programs.
• Maintain productive working relationships with law school career services offices, serving as a primary point of contact for recruiting logistics and communications.
• Coordinate logistics for direct applications and resume collections; and job fairs, receptions, and other recruiting events.
• Schedule and coordinate screening and callback interviews with candidates, attorneys, hiring committee members, and recruiting team members, while managing complex calendars and competing priorities.
• Coordinate law student and fall associate onboarding activities in collaboration with Human Resources, Office Administration, and other administrative departments to help ensure a smooth transition to the firm.
• Maintain recruiting data and candidate records within recruiting and HR applications, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all recruiting information.
• Assist in planning and executing the firm's summer associate program, including onboarding, training, work assignments, evaluations, social events, and program communications. Attend summer associate events as necessary to ensure events are successful and the recruiting team is represented.
• Prepare recruiting reports, hiring committee materials, candidate evaluation summaries, offer documentation, expense tracking, and recruiting metrics as requested by the Law Student Recruiting Manager.
• Assist with recruiting projects, process improvements, and other recruiting initiatives as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of recruiting, human resources, or professional services administration; experience in a law firm or a law school career services office is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, maintain exceptional attention to detail, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with attorneys, law students, senior leadership, vendors, and colleagues.
• Excellent organization, project management, and event coordination skills; experience managing complex interview schedules and recruiting events is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams; experience with viRecruit, Flo Recruit, Workday, or similar applicant tracking systems preferred but not required.
• Strong judgment, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality, along with a collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.

NORMAL WORK HOURS

This is a hybrid position, non-exempt, and is eligible for overtime compensation. Regular office hours are 8:30 - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The pay range for this position is $56,000 - $98,000; however, the base compensation presented to a candidate may vary based on skills and overall experience. This salary range is based on market location.
